Terms and Conditions
The rules for using this website and for texts from Virterra Assistant.
1. Who we are
This website, virterraassistant.com, is run by Virterra Assistant LLC ("Virterra Assistant," "we," "us"), a small business in Menomonie, Wisconsin. We set up and run a virtual receptionist for local small businesses. It uses AI and is set up to say it is a virtual assistant in every conversation it answers.
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You can still call or email us.
2. Text messages from Virterra Assistant
Virterra Assistant LLC sends text messages to business owners and their staff. We text you only if you checked a text message box on our form, or to answer a text you sent us. Agreeing to texts is optional. It is never a condition of asking for a test call, of using this site, or of buying anything from us, and using this site does not sign you up for texts.
If you agreed to non-marketing texts, expect: test call scheduling and follow-up, appointment reminders, demonstration messages, customer support replies, and account and service notices. If you separately agreed to marketing texts, expect special offers, discounts, and service updates.
Stopping, and getting help
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to DRAFT: our business number, set up in the trial. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at info@virterraassistant.com or DRAFT: our business number, set up in the trial.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Cost and how often
As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive a varying number of messages, depending on what you have asked us for. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
Most people get a few texts around a test call or a meeting. Clients may get more while their service is being set up. Marketing texts, for those who asked for them, are occasional.
Privacy
If you have any questions regarding privacy, please read our privacy policy: https://virterraassistant.com/privacy
The full description of the program is in our Text Message Terms.
3. What this website is, and is not
- The site describes our service in general terms. It is not an offer or a contract. If you become a client, a separate written agreement between you and us sets the service, the price, and each side's duties, and that agreement controls.
- The example conversations on the site are made up to show how the service works. They are not real customers or measured results.
- We do not promise any particular result, such as a number of calls answered, appointments booked, or dollars earned or saved.
- The virtual assistant uses AI, and AI can make mistakes. Nothing on this site is legal, medical, tax, or financial advice.
4. Using the site
You may read, link to, and print pages of this site for your own use. Please do not:
- send false information through our forms, or send a form for someone else without their permission;
- try to break, overload, or get into parts of the site or our systems that are not public;
- copy the site's text, design, or logo to pass off as your own.
The Virterra Assistant name and logo and the content of this site belong to Virterra Assistant LLC.
5. Calling us
Today a person answers our number, or you reach voicemail, and calls are not recorded. This page will be updated before that changes. Later, calls to our number may be answered by an AI virtual assistant that says so, and may be recorded, with a notice at the start of the call. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to recordings.
6. No warranty, and limits on liability
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for losses that come from using the site or relying on its content, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits a right the law does not let us limit. Our duties to clients are set out in the client agreement, not here.
7. Wisconsin law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
8. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we post the new version here with a new date at the top. We do not start sending you a new kind of text without your consent.
